About Me
Hi there, I’m Natalie Sims — A Nutritional Therapy Practitioner dedicated to helping people reconnect with the foundations of wellness in a way that feels simple, gentle, and sustainable.
I believe that health isn’t about chasing perfection or quick fixes. It’s about listening to your body, honoring your rhythms, and nourishing yourself with the food God has given us.
My Journey
For most of my life, I struggled with food sensitivities, eczema, and a lingering sense of not feeling well in my own body. No matter what I tried, I felt like I was always searching for answers but never finding the last relief I desperately needed.
It wasn’t until I began exploring the connection between nutrition and wellness that things started to shift. By supporting my body with real, whole foods and addressing the foundations first — nutrient-dense diet, digestion, blood sugar regulation, sleep, stress, movement, and mindfulness — I started to see my symptoms ease and my vitality return.
That transformation and journey — that I am still on — sparked a passion in me: to learn everything I could about holistic nutrition so I could help others find the same hope and healing. Today as a certified Nutritional Therapy Practitioner, I get to walk alongside clients as they discover their own path toward balance and thriving.
My Approach
I guide clients with care, patience, and curiosity, My work is not about rules or restriction, it is about building steady, personalized habits that address the whole person — not just the symptom.
I believe wellness grows when we:
nourish the body with vibrant, whole foods
restore through quality rest and balance
build resilience to stress through supportive practices
flow with intentional movement and joyful rhythms
stay present with mindfulness and grace
Beyond Nutrition
when I’m not meeting with clients, you’ll often find me:
testing cozy, balanced recipes
reading a good book —nonfiction and fiction
journaling and doing bible study
collecting inspiration in nature
spending time with family and friends

FAQs
Where does an NTP get their education?
Nutritional Therapy Practitioners are trained through the Nutritional Therapy Association (NTA), an accredited program that focuses on whole-body health and the power of food as medicine. The training blends modern science with traditional wisdom, covering anatomy, physiology, and the role of nutrition in supporting each body system. As an NTP, my education prepared me to see the body as an interconnected whole and to guide clients with practical, personalized recommendations.
How is this different from working with a dietitian or a doctor?
NTPs don’t diagnose, treat, or prescribe. Instead, we take a holistic approach, looking at your whole picture and helping you make sustainable, supportive changes. I work alongside your existing healthcare providers when needed.
What are the 7 foundations of health?
The seven foundations are the cornerstones that help the body function and thrive:
Sleep (Restoration): giving the body time to recharge and repair.
Stress (Resilience): supporting a balanced nervous system and calm mind.
Digestion (Nourishment): breaking down food and absorbing the nutrients we need.
Blood Sugar Regulation (Energy Balance): steady energy throughout the day, without big highs and crashes.
Nutrient-Dense Diet (Vibrant Fuel): foods that deeply nourish and sustain us.
Movement (Flow): joyful ways to move that keep the body strong and flexible.
Mindfulness (Presence): creating space for awareness, gratitude, and connection.
When these foundations are cared for, the body naturally begins to restore balance. This is the heart of nutritional therapy—supporting the roots so the whole system can thrive
How many sessions will I need?
It depends on your goals, because of how bio individual each client is. Some clients find a targeted session is enough to get started, while others choose a package with follow-ups for more ongoing support. We’ll discuss what feels best for you and go from there.
Do you take insurance or HSA?
Nutritional therapy is not typically covered by insurance and I cannot process HSA payments. However, I do my best to keep pricing accessible while honoring the value of this work.
What kind of concerns can you help with?
I support clients with concerns like digestive discomfort, fatigue, mood, stress, sleep challenges, and energy balance. Even if you don’t have a “big” issue, nutritional therapy is a great way to support overall wellness.
